I am Pat Vance, your State Senator.   I represent the people of the 31 st State Senate District of Pennsylvania which includes Cumberland County; Carroll, Fairview, Franklin, Monaghan, Warrington and Washington townships; and Dillsburg, Franklintown and Wellsville boroughs in York County.

My top priority has always been to serve as a knowledgeable and conscientious voice for the people of the 31st District.   My office has a proven capacity to understand the unique concerns of our area.  My legislative agenda is focused on how I can best enact laws to improve conditions in our community and in all of our lives.   It is critically important that government "do no harm" in its efforts to address the needs of Pennsylvanians.   I think we can all agree that our goal is to preserve and improve the quality of life that we have built for ourselves through hard work and perseverance.  

Tough times require a tough leader - someone who will stand up and be heard over the noise in Harrisburg.   I know Central Pennsylvanian's are not looking for government to solve all of their problems.   Instead, I will always strive to resolve the problems and concerns of people in the district..  

Together, we can find practical solutions to the tough problems we face.
